Our Story
Complete Guitar Method was created by two guitar teachers who saw the same problem again and again: students putting in time, but not making real progress.
After years of studying and teaching the instrument, we realized most players weren't struggling because of a lack of effort - they were struggling because there was no clear path. Online lessons were flashy, fragmented, and often skipped the fundamentals that actually make everything else work.
So we built something different.
Complete Guitar Method is a focused, no-fluff system designed to teach guitar the right way. Every course covers essential skills and explains why they matter, so you're not just memorizing shapes - you're understanding the instrument.
The four courses work together as a single method: developing technique, learning the theory behind what you're playing, mastering the fretboard, and connecting it all through CAGED. Follow the path, and practice stops feeling random. You gain clarity, confidence, and a foundation that lasts.

Wyatt King
Guitarist & Educator
Wyatt King is a guitarist, educator, and working musician with over a decade of playing experience across live performance, teaching, and studio work. He has performed professionally in a variety of settings, developing a strong foundation in harmony, improvisation, and ensemble playing.
Alongside performing, Wyatt is an active guitar teacher, collaborating with local music stores and recording studios to provide guitar and bass instruction. His experience includes one-on-one teaching, curriculum development, guitar maintenance and repair, and working directly with students at different stages of their musical journey.
Wyatt approaches music as a lifelong craft. Rather than teaching shortcuts or genre-specific tricks, his focus is on helping students build a clear understanding of the instrument, strong technique, and the confidence to apply their skills in real musical situations.
Alec Brenes
Guitarist, Educator & Software Developer
Alec Brenes is a computer scientist with a passion for both music and technology. As a guitarist and music educator, he understands the challenges learners face and designs instruction that builds real understanding. His approach combines practical technique work with clear music theory, helping students connect the dots between what they're playing and why it works.
Beyond teaching guitar, Alec built Complete Guitar Method to make quality guitar education accessible and effective. He believes the best guitar education respects your time and focuses on what actually matters.
